Howdy Dispatch is operated by Yikes Dude LLC, an Austin, Texas company. We focus exclusively on dispatch software for U.S. motor carriers running between 1 and 50 trucks. Hot shot, flatbed, dry van, reefer, owner-operator and small fleet.
The category is dominated by enterprise TMS vendors charging tens of thousands a year and built for fleets ten times larger than the customers we serve. The result is a long tail of small carriers running their dispatch out of WhatsApp, Excel, and shared Google Drives, losing photos, losing loads, and waiting 30+ days to get paid because the records were never clean to begin with.
We started Howdy Dispatch because we kept watching that pattern. We picked a single Texas carrier as a design partner, sat next to their dispatcher, rode along with their drivers, and shipped software they actually wanted to use. The 10 features in our MVP are the 10 things that carrier asked for, in order, before anything else.
