What is AI rate confirmation intake?

Drop a broker rate-conf PDF into Howdy Dispatch and the AI extracts the customer, origin, destination, mileage, rate, pickup and delivery times, and the broker contact info. It auto-matches the customer, driver, and truck against your address book. Google validates the origin and destination addresses. The dispatcher reviews and saves. What used to be 5 to 10 minutes of typing per load is now about 20 seconds of review. On a 20-load day that is roughly 2 hours back per dispatcher.

How does the 14-day free trial work?

Sign up at app.howdydispatch.com and your 14-day trial starts immediately. No payment method required. Pick a plan from your billing page anytime during the trial and your subscription kicks in. If you do not subscribe before day 14, your account is paused at the end of the trial; you can reactivate anytime by subscribing.

Do you charge per truck or per user?

Each tier is a fixed truck bundle: Standard is 1 truck, Pro is 5 trucks, Advanced is 10 trucks, Enterprise is custom. The bundle price is what you pay each month - you don't get a refund for empty trucks, but you also don't pay extra as you scale up to the included count. Dispatcher seats are capped per tier.

Can I import my existing data?

Yes. During onboarding we import your trucks, drivers, customers, brokers, and open invoices from a spreadsheet you send us. Most carriers are running in Howdy Dispatch within 48 hours of signup.

Does Howdy Dispatch replace QuickBooks or my accounting system?

Accepted Answer

No. Howdy Dispatch is your dispatch, driver app, GPS tracking, and per-load paperwork system. Accounting, invoicing, payroll, and payments stay in QuickBooks or whatever you already use. We focus on what happens between the broker rate confirmation and the signed proof of delivery, so when your bookkeeper invoices, the records are clean.

How does GPS tracking work?

Drivers download the Howdy Dispatch iOS app and grant location permission. The app pings their position every 60 to 90 seconds while a load is in transit. Dispatchers see live pins on the HQ map. No separate ELD device required.
