Howdy Dispatch
AI is live in production

AI ON THE
DISPATCHER'S SCREEN.
A REAL APP IN
THE DRIVER'S HAND.

The AI dispatch platform for small fleets, built on both sides.

Most AI for trucking is a dashboard your drivers do not open. Howdy ships the driver app too. The AI sits where the typing and the paperwork failures live, not where the press release sounds best.

The bet we are making

AI DISPATCH IS ONLY AS GOOD
AS THE DATA FROM THE ROAD.

Most enterprise TMS vendors bolt AI onto a dispatcher dashboard and ignore what is happening in the cab. That is backward. The dispatcher can only make a smart call if the data on the load is real. Pickup time. Delivery time. Photos that are actually legible. GPS pings that are actually continuous.

We built the driver app first. Photos go directly to cloud storage from the iOS app, tied to the load, timestamped, and visible to HQ within seconds. GPS pings stream continuously while the truck is moving. Sign-off captures distance and behavior per load.

Then we put AI where it eliminates the most painful repetitive work: parsing the broker rate confirmation at the start of the day, and checking driver photo quality at the dock so the broker dispute never happens.

The result is a platform where the AI has something real to chew on, because the road data is already there.

Live in production. On the dispatcher's screen.

AI THAT SHIPS TODAY.

AI rate confirmation intake

Live

Drop in a broker rate-conf PDF. The AI pulls customer, origin, destination, mileage, rate, pickup and delivery times, plus the broker email and phone (header, footer, letterhead, dispatch contact section). It auto-matches the customer, driver, and truck against your address book. Google address validation runs on both ends. The dispatcher reviews and saves.

5 to 10 minutes of typing per load becomes about 20 seconds of review. On a 20-load day, that is roughly 2 hours of dispatcher time back, before lunch.

AI THAT CATCHES PROBLEMS
AT THE DOCK.

AI photo quality check

Shipping next

Every load, manifest, and POD photo gets checked for blur and legibility the moment it hits the upload. The driver is still at the dock and can reshoot. Catches the unreadable BOL before the broker disputes the invoice three weeks later.

On the roadmap. Posted publicly so you know the direction.

WHAT IS COMING.

Every item below uses data we already collect today, so when each ships it will not need new hardware, new driver workflows, or new sensors. The platform is the substrate. The AI gets stacked on top.

Automatic IFTA mileage

Quarterly per-state miles per truck, generated from the GPS pings we already capture. No odometer reconciliation, no fuel receipt math. CSV export ready to drop into your IFTA filing. Possible only because Howdy owns the dispatch record AND the road data in one place.

AI manifest reading

Auto-extract pallet count, weight, commodity, and signature presence from the manifest photo. Per-load record gets structured data, not just an image.

AI ETA

Fuse live GPS, traffic, and per-driver behavior into a real arrival estimate. Not a static delivery date. A number the broker can plan around.

AI driver coaching

Surface recurring speeding patterns and suggest route-specific tips per driver. Same telemetry you already collect, made actionable.

AI broker email triage

When brokers email the load info instead of attaching a clean rate-con PDF. AI extracts the load, the dispatcher reviews, same flow as a PDF intake.

AI invoice generation

POD plus rate con plus driver-captured timestamps becomes an invoice in one click. Pre-filled, ready to send.

AI damage flagging

When the delivery photo shows visible cargo damage, the AI flags the load so the dispatcher catches it before the broker does.

What Howdy is NOT

THE STUFF WE DO NOT DO.

We are loud about what we do not ship so you do not buy us expecting it. Trust shows up later, but it has to start here.

  • We are NOT an Electronic Logging Device (ELD).
  • We are NOT a freight broker or carrier of record.
  • We do NOT verify FMCSA authority, safety scores, or insurance.
  • We do NOT do route optimization.
  • We do NOT autonomously dispatch loads. The dispatcher decides who runs what.
  • We do NOT do AI HOS compliance. That is the ELD's job, not ours.
